I was hoping to go to a game last week in person--it just didn't work out. This piece made me feel like I was there anyway. :)
If you have time, I would love to hear your thoughts about the streaming content...personally I am not the biggest fan...but I know it's better than nothing. :)
Glad you enjoyed it Max, and sorry your own visit didn't work out!
That first weekend notwithstanding, I think it's been decent. The video quality is better than I expected (I thought we were going to get Northwoods-level resolution, for example). I liked the booth of Jenna Becerra and Max Kelton the most. Jenna chatting with A.J. Andrews is nice, obviously A.J. knows a lot, but I can *feel* that she's not sitting right next to Jenna and is instead roaming the sidelines looking for interesting stories.
It can get better, for sure, but honestly it's a little better now than I thought it was going to be originally.
Nice Northwoods callout. Not sure how comparable the leagues are, but the comparison has been on the brain ever since the Women's Baseball World Cup qualifier games last month were hosted at the Rivets' ballpark.
Solid write-up, Justin!!!
